Wow! Thanks everyone!

This one was a few layers. Clear soap layer, then another clear to keep the eggs in place, then the water soluble paper then the white scented layer to top it all off. I had to do it mentally in my head a few times before I tackled it for real. LOL Those little eggs were tricky - my hands are a bit shaky. I'll be doing more soon. I have so many ideas.

P.S. Don't ever sniff vanilla stabilizer! I mistook it for one of my fragrance oils. Ohhhh SO painful!! I won't be sniff testing oils in the bottle anymore. Argh!!

Took me two days to go through all the pages, but it's been well worth it. You are some of the most inspiring and ingenous artists around. Who knew you could do so much with M&P?

I hope to add my humble beginnings to this thread soon

I've been using a pebble mold and embedding them on the top of BBs new square mold. Here are my two latest efforts!

Very pretty, PurpleMolly! The pebbles look so realistic - the blue ones look like turquoise! Love the opalescence of the pebbles in the first soap. 8)

Very nice! Purple Molly where have you been? I've been asking about you worried and such! Good to see you are out and about soaping as usual!

Purple Molly, I really love these, but then I love stones and rocks for some odd reason. I never outgrew picking them up and putting them in my pocket.

Thanks everyone! Thanks mella - it's nice to know I've been missed! I've been very busy becoming a grandma! My daughter had our first grandchild on January 12th - a granddaughter called Matilda Grace ... and we're in love lol! I'm still soaping as much as before but not on the forums quite as much :)
I'll post a picture on New Trends and Off Topic Chatter to show off my darling little girl!

I must warn you, this is going to be a bit of a picture hog . These are some of my first soaps (melt and pour). I made two other individual bars to practice with, then tried these out. They're a gift for someone.

There's a rose scented bar with added olive oil (with the bow on it), lavender and poppy seed soap also with olive oil, and two rose petal bath bombs (coloured with beetroot powder). This was my first time packaging too, so let me know what you think. I made the little green box for the bombs as well. Hubby helped me design some labels so the recipient would know what she was using. I drew the little bunny and hubby used the wonders of photoshop to make the labels.

I tried to go for a cold process look on top. Well, it's rustic and interesting anyway :). I call it faux process lol.

Thanks to all the people who've answered my questions recently. I'd love some criticism and feedback. I want to get better at this.

Oh, maybe I shouldn't ask this here, but the person who asked me to make these as a gift for someone else wants to pay me, but I have no idea what to ask. I don't want to make a profit as such, but wouldn't mind funding my hobby. I have no idea what handmade soap costs. TIA :)

Good job!
I don't use shrink wrap for CP soaps, as over time the soap can shrink a little more, making the shrink wrap loose. I just noticed these are MP; right? Then you should be fine with shrink wrap.
