There is usually some amount of beeswax in most recipes, but not all, and not always. You can accomplish hardness with other waxes or with the harder butters and/or the hard at room temp oils. If you look up the recipe section on teach soap I am sure you will find an appropriate recipe, but if you don't like those, or want more choices, there are actually several sites that offer recipes. You can try blog.thesage.com or the wsp.com recipe section, and googling should net you even more to choose from.
If you want to make your own, I suggest you look at the other recipes to get an idea of their percentages, then begin to sub in your choice of oils and butters. Keep in mind that you cannot have all soft butters (like shea) and still have something that will hold its shape. While you are likely to see large differences in recipes, the percentages of hard oils/waxes/butters to the liquid oils should have a pretty clear range, then you will just need try it and decide what % ratio you like the best.
Good luck and happy creating!
