It really depends upon what type of hair you are making it for. But any oil that you use in B & B products can be utilized in a shampoo bar. I like to use a light oil, such as sunflower, sweet almond, or apricot seed, along with a suds oil, and the an exotic/conditioning oil, such as jojoba, yucca or wheat germ for hair health. Really you work it a lot like your lotions, look at the properties of the oils and decide based upon your needs. There are also some additives that help with shaft penetration and the like, that you could use if you dont mind using a synthetic in your recipe. There are some prepared recipes that you can look at and put thru the calculator so you can see the range for the numbers before choosing your ingredients.
