Teach Soap

I moved last month and have no room upstairs for my soap stuff. I have to keep everything downstairs now, which is probably better for my oils because it's much cooler down there. But I was wondering if this would be ok for storing my soap....I have a 5-shelf kitchen rack and will be using that to cure soap on...but the problem is the dust (unfinished basement) and I don't want my soaps getting all dusty. Can I drape/tape paper (I just happen to have a newspaper endroll) over the rack? Would that be ok? Would the soap get enough air to cure?

Yes, The paper should be fine.

I've done that and covered the bars with paper towels ( just laid over the top.

Too funny I just put some gardeners soap out in my garage and covered it top and bottom with wax paper for dust, etc., I can't take the smell of it, makes me sick people love the lemongrass, cit, etc., but does not agree with me. Did the same last year and it cured just fine.
