Teach Soap

Hi Folks, Im looking to make a soap for people with oily skin.I make tons for people with dry skin. Can anyone point me in the right direction?Do I use clay or oatmeal? do I scent it? Superfat? Essential oils? Don't know where to begin.

Clay, sea mud and certain essential oils are often ingredients in soap for oily skin. Oatmeal is used as an exfoliant to help clean out the pores. Neem seed oil is said to improve overall skin condition and immunity, helping to fight bacterial infections that can result in acne. Grapeseed is easily absorbed, mildly astringent, tightens and tones the skin, making it a useful ingredient in a soap for an acne prone skin.

Anyone use calendula in this kind of soap? Maybe tea tree oil. Just thinking.

Calendula is for any type of skin.

Would a zero superfat , unscented soap with clay be going in the right direction?

I would say a zero superfat would be a pretty harsh soap to use on the skin.
