hi there,
i'm new to the site but have been soaping for about 4-5 years. One of the things I didn't like in the beginning was lining the molds and then trying to get the soaps in my large box mold cut evenly. I then tried something that has worked for me for years and I always get a perfect shape. I re-use my half and half containers as a mold. No lining necessary and when soap is ready I just rip off the container and have perfectly shaped logs which I slice in my soap cutter. :)

Welcome! I do the exact same thing for some bars. What is also nice is that since only the top is exposed to air, you never get ash!
