I have soaped at room temp, and it was ok, I soaped at room temp with the no gel method, never tried it and than tried to get a gel. I liked it, nice sometimes. I watched a video which shows that you can room temp at a light trace and do some cool in the pot colors and take your time. I used it for my Christmas soaps and it was a hit. I would not do it all the time though. I like the feel of my 120 and gelled soaps the best.

Hi ljm1180, I never put my soap in the freezer when I've poured it. I always pour in into my moulds, cover with greaseproof paper, and leave for 4 weeks. Summer over here, so too hot for a towel, but the paper seems just fine. I don't do anything else to the milk soaps, and so far, never had a problem, they still come out light coloured and creamy. They have never gelled yet. Hope this helps.
