I know that one of the main (if not THE main) ingredient in bath bombs/fizzies is citric acid. I cannot find it by itself, but remember that it is part of canning fruits. When I went to the canning area of my local walmart, all they had was "Balls Fruit Fresh". The ingredients in this are in this order:
Dextrose, Asorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Citric Acid, Silicone Dioxide (anti caking). I cannot use this, correct? Because its not straight up citric acid?

The first ingredient is sugar. Citric acid is the third. If you want to experiment be aware that your proportions would vary since it's not straight citric acid. Why not order it online?

Having never used that, I can't say it won't work... but I would definitely recommend ordering straight citric acid online instead. BrambleBerry and www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com both have it. BrambleBerry's is cheaper, WSP has free shipping. Good luck!
