Teach Soap

Since I was a kid I remember friends trying nutmeg and saying it was like drinking alcohol. 3 or 4 grams gives the effect of 2 or 3 drinks of alchohol.
My family owns a vineyard and winery east of Naples so I started working on the farm and drinking wine when I was 6.
Personally, I dislike the effects of alcohol so I never personally tried the nutmeg.
I'm a pretty big guy (6'5" & 240) and my friends think I'm a sissy because if I drink 2 beers then I'm done for the night.
Wine to me, is like drinking water. It's the beer and liquor I can't handle.....and nutmeg.

I think I'll start storing my cayenne pepper in my nutmeg container in case someone breaks in and steals it.

Either that or start storing your lye in the nutmeg container. That would give anyone who breaks into the house looking to eat some nutmeg quite a shock. Bears.

Well, I like and can enjoy my share of beer. Nutmeg - has to be fresh ground and used in coffee cake for me. When I went to high school they told tales of coke and aspirin. Never tried it.
I did go to the big box hardware store this morning, bought 2 pounds of lye and did not have to sign anything or give my name. Don't know if this will last. Like I said change comes slower to this area.
(which is why the packers will win this Sunday )

I heard of the coke and aspirin also. Don't know if it was ever true though. And honestly Bubbles, do we need to find you a job during the day so you will quit harassing everybody that isn't Pickers fan? Word in the Bears camp is that a group from the oncology ward is going to beat up Rodgers after his stint last week. A friend of mine with the last name of Peppers said for you to watch the game especially during the 2nd quarter on Sunday cause he's going to put on a little show for you. He loves my soap BTW. GoBears.

I hope others are ok with our antics here....
I do have a day job and could be in touch with a few rough guys of my own since I work in a prison. But not allowed to give out names. That is also why I try to keep up on current drug habits, like to know what these guys have done to themselves. I will watch bits and pieces of that game and I still pray for a fair and safe game...God will watch over my quarterback! Go PACK!!!!

I ordered from the Lye Guy and while the price is good, the jars weren't air tight and I now have 4 jars of solid lye in less than a year. I have gone back to AAA-Chemical.

I just received my first order of Lye from essentialdepot.com and am very pleased! I ordered it on Saturday and it arrived this afternoon (Weds.) I ordered 8 pounds and even with the shipping, it was only about $4 more than what I would have paid for two small containers at my local farm supply store. I'm looking forward to spending a few hours on Friday making soap!
