Silicone Molds for Fizzies

I am new to making fizzies. I have been trying to use a silicone mold to make fizzies and they are crumbling as I take them out of the mold. Is there a special trick or technique to using a silicone mold to make fizzies, or does this combination just not work.

If they are crumbling, try more moisture. You can spray it with witch hazel.

Hi cat040876,

Thanks for this info. I am about to make some now I think the not backing tight enough is the problem. I was using a mold with mini stars and think that may have been the problem

If you pack them tighter and still have trouble, you might want to think about investing in one of BrambleBerry's stainless steel molds. I'm brand new to making bath fizzies and that one has worked for me

Just pack tightly and use a couple of rubber bands to keep the halves together.
