Teach Soap

I know he'll never see this since he doesn't lurk the forum (probably better that way since this is a can of worms I might never get closed if he knew) but...

I just have to give kudos to my Mr. I'm silly excited about the fact that after 20+ years he still likes (or at least pretends well) the stuff I like. So this is my silly little thank you to him for coming home from work and actually WANTING to make soap with me. : )

You are a lucky lady! My DH will not make soap with me, but then I do not make candles with him But don't worry after 36years we have learnt to connect in other ways!

Curious, are you using pink sugar in CP soap? I had read that it does not hold up. I love the scent by only use it in M&P.

Aww... that is so nice! My hubby just complains about the strong smells. (We have a smaller sized condo though.)

MsB, you are so lucky! My husband thinks that men (mainly him) should wash themselves with water only, they (mainly him) need to stay manly!

cat040876 you can tell your husband that manly men enjoy good soap also. All of (yes.....every one of them) my former teammates use my soap in the locker room. Trust me, professional football players are not sissies and are probably more manly than any other man you will find on the planet. And they like good soap. Myself included.....because real men don't care if other people know they like good soap.

That is a joke I have with Dave. I saw a bar of soap in a restaurant that made a bunch of medical claims and jokingly said the label states, "cures stupidity, broken hearts, etc.". If a soap cured stupidity and laziness then I wouldn't just bathe in it.....I'd eat it and sleep with it also.
