I notice that when I stick blend to med to thick trace that my soap always gel. I like gelling my soap and supersoaps taught me to put in a warm oven to force gel. But I see that my soaps that I blend to thick trace gel faster without a warm oven. I also notice that if I mix my stuff higher than 115 degrees that I almost always get a good gel. But if I mix below 110 I almost never get gel unless I blend to thick trace. Does this make sense? Is this true or just me being paranoid. Thanks Celeste.

I can see that being possible, but I don't have any technical data to back it up.

It makes sense to me, the longer I stick blend the warmer the soap gets, so it stands to reason it would gel if you went for a medium thick trace.

I soap at about 105 degrees and try to never go over tin trace and my soap usually still gels just wrapped in a towel
