Well, I finally to plunge and decided to buy the mica sample packs from BB (along with the chai fragrance, have been dying to try it). Can anyone give me any advice? I normally color my soaps with spices and herbs, so this will be a rather new experience.

They color clear MP base really well and you don't need much. For white MP base, they wil make a nice pastel color.

Mix the amount you want to use with a little fragrance oil or alcohol first. Then pour that into the melted soap. You don't have to but this really helps it not to clump in the soap base. :D
