Hello All,

I need to find a way to mimic bubblegum scent. I know I can buy it, but really don't have any wiggle room at all in the budget to by anymore F/O's (or E/O's for that matter) at the moment. I don't think I need to have it be "spot on" but close.

Do you have any fo's that are close? Like cotton candy?

I checked out fragrance oil finder and here's a couple descriptions from some suppliers:
1- A mouth-watering tutti-fruitti type with notes of cherry, orange, clove, beech tree and vanilla.

2-Top notes: fruity, rose. Middle notes: jasmine, violet. Bottom notes: musk, vanilla.

hello everyone!!!!!

The bubblegum scent has been accomplished in more than one way!!!

Okay, so for those of you that have followed this..... and with special thanks to Amy.... here are the following results:
Bubblegum scent using essential oils:

If you are using Essential Oils it is CRITICAL that you dilute in carrier oil, I chose Olive for those that have nut allergies and for its natural healing properties. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT SOME ESSENTIAL OILS CAN CAUSE SKIN SENSITIVITY!!!

Bubblegum scent using essential oils:

4 parts Grapefruit
2 parts Ylang Ylang
1 part Eucalyptus or 1/2 part clove (be very careful, clove is really really strong!)


For F/O:
4 parts Pink Sugar
2 parts Grapefruit OR Cranberry Citrus
2 parts Ylang Ylang or Honeysuckle
1/2 part clove


Now I have to tell you that the F/O with the pink sugar (thank you thank you thank you AMY) is much more economical...

and it should be noted that I don't have issues using F/O AND in borrowing the noses in my family and friend circle, the f/o blend was chosen hands down. The crowning touch I think was the pink sugar/cranberry citrus sent to me by Amy. The E/O blend was also great if you are dealing with older tweens with a bit of more sophisticated palate.
