Does anyone have any tips on how to get the paper cigar type lables to stay on tight? I pretty much wait to wrap the soaps until I need them so that the lable is not on any sooner than possible to let the soap dry more. And it's dried atleast 6 to 8 weeks. I always use the reccomended amount of water in the recipe. But loose lables look bad.

I use transparent tape to put mine on. Every now and then one does become loose. I take a sharp knife and cut the tape and stick another piece on there after I tighten the label. You can't tell it was done that way.

I've been using the "permanent" double-sided tape. I mistakenly bought the "removable" tape which didn't hold up well, but the permanent type seems to be doing the trick.

I was tying them on for a while and that does work but you need to leave a tad of tye so that when they shrink at the end you have enough to do one more wrap around and knot. Does that make any sense? LOL

Scrap booking supply places have those adhesive dots of glue on a tape - they hold well and can be moved (though not a lot of times!).

I use those sticky dots for scrapbooking -- they hold very well for me.

I was useing glue to hold my lables on. I think you have the right idea about useing glue dots from scrap booking supplies. they could be moved to tighten lables. Thanks everyone.
