I just made a batch of soap that has 1/2 the liquid as water & the other half as coconut milk. I added my (3%) beeswax to the oils & they all melted nicely together. I let the lye water & oils cool to about 90 degrees before adding the semi-frozen milk. Will that make the beeswax clump? It's killing me to wait a month to find out!

TIA

Possibly.
I use beeswax in every batch and the lowest temp that I go is around 100. Any less, and my oils/butters/waxes start to solidify. Beeswax has a higher temp, so you need to soap warmer then 90 degrees.

Thanks Soapbuddy. You soap at 100 degrees when making milk soap? Wouldn't that scorch the milk? Do you put milk soaps in the fridge or freezer with beeswax in the mix?

The way I make milk soaps is that I dissolve the lye in minimum water required, then add the milk as soon as the oils/butters and lye water have emulsified. It also helps that I don't gel. My batches go in the fridge or the freezer if I know that they will heat up by themselves.
