Teach Soap

Well, I bought a color sample pack for lip balm in Brambleberry but it seems to be there is no original strawberry red color in there. Could anyone show me how to mix to get a nice strawberry red color from this pack?
Here are my colors:
Copper
Yellow Mica
Red Mica
Brick Red
Burgundy
Light Gold Mica
Rose Pearl
Sparkle Violet
Apricot Blush

I would try the red mica. If you want an orange based red, you can add a very small amount of the brick mica. If you want a blue based red, you can try the red mica with a touch of burgundy.

I'd suggest Red + Rose + Apricot Blush or Light Gold.

Well, I tried with both 3 color guide mix and only Red Mica color. At first, the color is berry red enough, but when it cooled down, it turned to pink . The 3 color mix gave a pink more close to red.



the top pot is mixed with 3 color while the other is single color. The top pot is pink, not red as in picture coz of sort of light.
Should I put more Red mica into the mix?? is too much color dangerous?

Yay, but its PINK, not Red and certainly not Strawberry Red . Should I double the mica??

Adding more mica is fine. However if you start to add a lot then it goes from chap-stick to lip tint to lipstick. =)
You can re-melt the lip balm base and add more coloring. I would try a darker color though, like a little burgundy or brick red.
