Teach Soap

We got quite a bit of snow here, probably more than we've ever had in the past 13yrs since we've been here. My Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats are not as big as other goats and they absolutely hate anything that is wet or cold. We had to spend the morning yesterday and today shoveling a path to the troughs and then digging out the troughs. I just want you to know though that my goats are not spoiled

Notice in the entire pasture of what you can see, there are no hoof prints---- I have about 46 goats in that pasture! They've been hanging in the barn....

Here you can almost hear Elyse ( black )complaining to Dorsey ( Striped ) about the feeding conditions which are quite beneath her!

Thank you everyone--- I love showing them off We have babies due starting next month and all through April. You've never seen such joy as a baby goat when he sees the big world for the first time---- running, hopping, twisting in the air---- you can't help but marvel.

Well, back to chores. This weather has my water pump in the barn froze up so we are hauling water from the house. You'd think it would build muscles but so far it's just built a sore back!

Wow knine, do ALL your goats have names? They are so cute. A friend of mine has 3, and they're inquisitive little things. They love climbing onto logs and hay bales. That snow looks pretty serious over there. I heard on the news this morning another 12". It looks lovely, but I don't think I'd like to live with it

It's snowing here in Texas today! We get very excited because we don't get snow very often. Only 2 to 6 inches total is what the news is saying. Unfortunately for my kids, they didn't get a snow day. Some did but not mine. I will be mad though if the schools close early and I have to get out in it to go get them. My husband took his 4X4 truck to work and my car is only 2 wheel drive with no anti lock brakes. Fun in the ice.

SueBre--- yes they all have names! They are a registered breed so they all get named! And most of them know their names too. They are very much like dogs.

Diana--- we are rolling through the bird seed! We buy it in 50lb bags!

Good luck driving hvrba--- go slow. We have trucks and 4x4 out here in the country---- no one ever clears the roads. You just hope for some good tire tracks
