I have a very large batch (113 bars) in the freezer (coconut milk). I normally CPOP, but with the Goats milk and a darker FO, I wanted to keep the base as milky as possible..

How long before I take it out??

You can safely leave it in there, up to overnight. Just bring it to room temp before cutting.

Once I completely missed a batch of individual sizes soaps in the freezer for a week!! :shock:

I had done about 50 soaps that day and just missed taking the last ones out. They were fine----- didn't seem any different than the ones I leave in overnight.

I forgot a batch of GM in the freezer. Four hours, instead of half an hour. It came out no different to my previous batch, which only had the half hour. I do worry about the plastic molds, though. I believe they can become brittle from too much freezer time - does anyone know if that's true?

Some plastic molds can become brittle and crack with overuse. It's the type of plastic that they are. I've used many of my plastic molds in the freezer and they all worked fine except one.
