Teach Soap

Just wondering if anyone else is snow-bound and getting a chance to create soap as a result. I wanted to try Ultramarine Blue color, so came up with Blue Blizzard. Not the best pic, but the lights are beginning to flicker, so my soaping time may be limited here. We've shovelled our first 2 feet this am, and are expecting more all day so will be here a while. Have to remind myself this weekend that VA is actually a Southern state.

Scents that is one awesome looking batch. Appropriately named. Sorry about the snow.....it'll keep you in good shape though!!!

great looking soap! Will the "white stuff" go all the way thru? I will watch for a photo of the cut bars. Sorry about your snow storm, here I sit in Wisconsin and have blue skys. I also heard the are having to ship snow to Canada for the winter olympics!

Snowed in here in Baltimore too. I had good intentions for soaping this weekend but last night the power went out for a few hours. Today has been all about shoveling. The plows still have not come to my street at this hour but at least the snow has stopped (after 30+ inches) and the driveway is MOSTLY clear.

My back is killing me and I'm pooped... so soaping will have to wait until tomorrow.

I can't wait to see cut pics of that Blue Blizzard! What does it smell like?

scents those are phenomenal, just wow! I thought they were pour in a loaf, but the cut bars look like they came from a slab! Nice job, and thanks for the fragrance tip!

Thank you all for your kind comments. It was a fun project in an otherwise busy, snow-filled weekend. Mella, yes, it was a slab mold. I'm smiling at your comments re: the photo. This is freezer paper draped over a chair. You have to have a cat playing with the back end, otherwise it doesn't work . I actually newly own, and have yet to master, a little photo light box set-up. Guess that needs to be my next project. Seems I'd rather ba making soap, than taking photos.

YOU have an assistant? Well how cool is that!!! LOL
