HELP
I did some rebatch goatsmilk soap in a roaster same as last time.
The last batch was a little soft but we all loved it.
It was really nice to our skin.
I had added olive ori and little milk.
I added more milk a cup as I followed someones recipe and a tsp of olive oil.
WAT TO SOFT.
The rebatch hardes up nice if I just cut it from the loaf without adding or heating it.
I do love the olive oil.
I also used a stick mixer when I stirred it.
I added a little tiny bit of eucalyptus and peppermint to both times.
Could the milk be the problem?
The rebatch is still moist and darker in the middle when I cut it from the slab.
I am so very frustrated.
Can I rebatch the soap again that is too soft?
I will not do rebatch again.
Im dying to make CP but was chicken thinking that rebatch would be a great start to see if I would really get into it being that I have always dreamed of being a soap maker.
I love all things natural being a wheatgrass grower OHHHH HELP.....
I dont want to give up my dream of being a soap maker though I will never be as great as some of you.
You are all an inspiration and give me hope.

Unless you are rebatching a large batch, 1 cup of milk is too much and will make your soap soft. It might harden over time as the water from the milk slowly evaporates. That will take a while. For a rebatch you need only very little liquid. When I rebatch my shreds, I just sprinkle a little water over it to make it damp.
