Today a box arrived and I wasn't expecting a box! Wow what could be in the box, Xmas, BD, what?

Oh says on the side a BBerry box, whoa, and in the box is "IT's a gift box! Nice

cat face stamp-meow, I just love it and know how to use it, hurray. Then

Puprle Oxide
Green Chrome oxide Pigment
Hydrated Chrome Green Pigment
Burgundy Pigment
Organic Sea Salt 2 lbs

Loads of colors and salt. Now being a strictly M&P girl, what do you suggest I do with these items and the sea salt.

Salt bars, don't think M&P does that. Any ideas?

Add those colors to MP or CP soap. You could make bath salts with your salt, add some epsom salts and a little bit of cornstarch that was mixed with your fragrance. Voila!

Congrats!! A lovely surprise.

You can do M&P salt bars. You'd need a few extra bits, but well achievable. Have a search on the forum for salt bars - there's a thread with a LOT of info about them, and what worked and what didn't. Have a looksee.

Thank you for the ideas. I'll consider the salt bars, and bath fizzies sound really fun.

I'll need to wait for my next order, no more M&P, or maybe I could rebatch some of yesterdays experiments!

Perhaps I might add a bit of salt to the tops of the soaps to decorate them up a bit and then I did come across a tutorial about gem soaps with salt layers that were nice.

Well I haven't done the top of a soap yet with salt, but I did do this and wow it was fun and smells good with an ocean fragrance from BB who else!

Looks good mella! Now all you need to do is crop it a little.

You must have a lovely friend to buy you soapmaking supplies. What a great gift!

You could also make bath fizzies and put the salt into the bath fizzies (10% or so) and yes, you could do a rebatching project with the sea salt and make salt bars. =)
