Well the question is still in the air! LOL Perhaps I have a super sensitive sniffer, but you would think I would knon that from earlier in my life.
I wrote the company to let them know I repackaged the soaps so that I could use them. Here is part of the company response;
"I use PVC shrinkwrap on my soaps, and wrap by hand (no machinery to impart any kind of a "lubricant" smell). The film protects the soap from dirt and moisture, and helps keep the scent from fading or mingling with other soap scents during storage and shipment..." I am glad to hear that the soaps seemed to be unaffected once the wrapping came off!

Can you detect the smell from the box your soaps were mailed in, or the the plastic bubble wrap that cushioned the package"?
It was definitly the packaging, not the box, not the bubble wrap, not fumes from the postman or delivery trucks, just the heavy duty cellephane type material that had the petrol smell.
Now I'm worried what to wrap my own creations in one day when I get some hatched!
