Does anyone have an easy sugar (white sugar) scrub recipe that is not oily/greasy feeling? I am a beginner with sugar scrubs and would also like it to have a soap in it. I tried to make it with a sugar cube recipe I had but it gets to hard. I tried to play with the recipe a little but didn't work. I am in dire need for a quick easy recipe and instructions because I have a show in 2 weeks. Help!

Anne-Marie posted a sugar scrub recipe on her blog. http://www.teachsoap.com/index.html
I hope you can do some testing before you sell. 2 weeks is not much time. How would you know how the scrub will do over time? What if it gets too hard? Some recipe do.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. I will have to research her blog. I made a quick browse through her blog and couldn't find it. I will have to look some more. Yes, I don't think I will be getting this project of the ground before that show. I will have to play! Thanks again!

I make mine with:
8oz of melted clear soap base (brambleberry base)
8oz of almond oil
16oz of sugar
fo

it ends up being slightly greasy at first but i put the scrub into bite size brownie silicone mold, let sit for an hour or so then pop them out. After drying overnight, they're pretty hard but get nice and soft once in the shower.

good luck!

Try this one http://soap-queen.blogspot.com/2008/02/ ... a-way.html. I used preservative in mine so that I could put it in the shower. I used it on my legs after I shaved and it was amazing! The tub was slightly greasy but not me!! I plan on making some for christmas gifts.
