Teach Soap

I bought those delightful little heat seal bags and set off to create a treat for the bath. I came up with a mixture of ground oatmeal, epsom salts, baking soda, etc, and a few different dried plants for scent. They feel wonderful for a while, then SOMETHING in the combination starts to inflate the bag and then the slightest amount of pressure (rubbing it on your skin, etc.) makes it blow a seam and peices parts float all over you and the bath tub. Particularly frustrating on the ones that have rose buds in them....it's a horrible, icky mess to have floating around you. I have switched to muslim bags but I have tons of the heat and seals left and I liked them better. Any ideas as to what was causing the air build up??

If there is any humidity in your area at all, that moisture will creep into your product and start off the reaction.

I find that adding ground herbs is a lot easier to clean up after using bathsalts or fizzies.
