Hi Guys,
Does anybody know how to make a fortune cookie saop by MP method ? Am sure ya'll out there are so professional....someone has to have the techinque down...anybody ..please help !!

I've used a silicone mold & just melted and poured.

I know pouring in the mold for the shape is easy but how do you put a lttle fortune note in it ?

Wow you got us :oops: where did you get the fortunes's anyway. I did a boutique today, and I had my little cookies there. They were so in love with the little cookies, no one even asked about their fortune. Pray tell :!:

I made some and they were easy with the mold, check my blog mysoapology.blogspot.com Not much to do except melt, and I made a honey base, castor oil, jojoba, and a bit of stone ground oats, I scented with Sweet Pea from Brambleberry.

I tried getting on your blogspot...but couldn't see anything with regards to the recipe.

Before there was a mold in the shape of a fortune cookie, people were making them by hand. I believe they would pour a thin sheet of soap into a pan (1/4" thick maybe?), then, when it's still a little soft, they would cut it into rounds and fold them into fortune cookies.

I feel like there's a tutorial online somewhere that I saw forever ago. Maybe some expert googling would unearth it again! 8)
