How old is old soap? I read it lasts a year before scent disappears. I use only EO's. And most importantly what do I do with older soap if I feel it's not up to par with my selling criteria currently?I make better soap now than I did a year ago. Donating soap for business growth and to benefit others?

I have my mother's 20 year old soap and it's fine. The scent has faded, but it's still a good soap.
I donate my oopsie bars to the local women's shelter.
