Hi guys,
No sure which board to post this in, but i have a question for all of the hot process soapers out there.
I am new to hp soaping (usually cp soap) and I saw a suggestion to add a mix of yoghurt and coconut milk upon the completion of the cook to increase the fluidity of the soap. You then cook it for a further 5 minutes before pouring.

I wondered if this would make the soap's shelf life very short? Does anyone do this with their HP soap and have a good shelf life? I know these ingredients are added successfully in both CP and HP soap before soaponification, but adding after the cook kind of worries me :| :| :| :|

Personally, I would not add it after the cook due to possible spoilage issues.
If you want the HP soap more fluid, add some sodium lactate after the cook.

Thanks for your reply Irena!
You have confirmed what I thought. It makes me too nervous. Will definitely do that.
