Is it sold in grocery stores/drug stores etc? I'm looking for a place thats not online

Some grocery stores have it in the canning section. Where all the jars, lids and pectin is.

Nutritional store may have it as well.

I could not find it at all in my grocery stores, their canning section consisted of jars and pectin. I ended up finding it in a healthfood store sold by weight in the bulk spice section.

You can find it at health food store or super markets with a diverse international foods section. I ran out one time and had to find a heath food market and it was a tad expensive there.

Try Brambleberry! I get my citric acid and soap bases there....wonderful stuff!

I bought it from a 'make your own wine' store. It was 5 dollars for half a kilo, i don't know how good of a price that is though.

I've done some research with this & Brambleberry is by far the cheepest. You can get 10lbs for $15.00. The only local markets I know of are specialty food stores like Whole Foods, or Trader Joes

try sourcing your local food distributers, especially the smaller locally owned ones, they will have bulk baking soda and can get citric acid at a very reasonable price (50# citric acid for $70 is what I paid last time). Both of these are common kitchen/bakery ingredients you probably will need a tax ID number though

I got a ripped bag for free from a chemical salesman. It's food grade. Anyone know if food grade will act the same way as technical grade?
