Teach Soap

you say, bruise. Cause I couldn't say anything else. I'm trying or tried to make milk soap. It still scorched even in the ice bath, even with frozen milk, even pouring slowing, even putting it in the freezer. Came out like pudding, yellow.

so, I ditched it and will start with water. No more frozen milk and the scale is on it's last ounce of lithium. I asked t to hold on a little bit I'll order more lithium...

let's see if she'll let me do one more measure.

I'm sorry to hear it went badly! Did your milk just change color or the whole soap? Even with freezing the milk, it often turns somewhere between yellow and orange on me, but the soap made with the Orange milk does not look orange or yellow but rather a creature white once I unmold.

someone said I still could have used it but I had tried milk before and still it was too fast I guess. I guess, you pour, make sure it's all melted then pour again.

it just turned yellow, and then it started to smell even though it was over ice!!!!!! I didn't just dump the cup on it.

i sprinkled, tried to mix but they were still cubes. not much mixing you can do there. so,,, I think the cube it self has to have more space, as in let it be slushy instead of just the cube.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

An ammonia smell is normal. The smell is gone once the soap sets up and hasn't seemed to change any of the fragrances I've used. If you ever want to just try it anyway, do a small batch and go ahead and use that yellow, smelly milk. It really does make nice soap, but if it's not for you then no big deal either. You can make plenty of really nice soaps with water or tea.

I believe that. I'm not throwing in the towel just yet. It's just milk;) lol Not my precious oils..
