Hi Folks -

A real newborn here.

Can I please get suggesstions for sources for the highest quality, most aromatic, black spruce and clove EOs for CP soap making?

Additionally, what EO/FO should each of these EOs be anchored with?

Thanks!

Clove Oil is a well known irritant and skin sensitizer. It should never be used on the skin directly or even in rates over 1% in CP soap. Clove oil can accelerate trace or make your soap seize. Clove or Spruce need no anchor. You can find it at BrambleBerry. http://www.brambleberry.com/Clove-Leaf- ... P3640.aspx
I get my Black Spruce from http://av-at.com/

Thanks for the reply.

I am currently using a clove soap from someone, made with clove EO. The aroma is quite strong. It literally fills the room with its great smell. Yet, the soap is very gentle and quite moisturizing.

I have used some clove soaps that, to me, had virtually no fragrance. My nose picked up next to nothing.

Any additional thoughts?

Regards!
