Just wanted to say hi to the forum.

I am super new to soap making, i.e. I have not yet made *any* soap, but I'm hoping to change that very soon. I found some basic instructions on youtube, but I wanted to read more before I dove in and potentially created a soapy disaster in my house. haha

Anyway, the "read this first!" thread in Cold Process was incredibly informative and just the sort of thing I was looking for. Thanks soapbuddy! ^_^

My interest in soap making has been off and on, until I made some homemade laundry detergent, and then wanted to make my own soap bar to grate up into laundry detergent. Aaaand here I am. Of course, now I want to make my own happy skin soap, and dish liquid, and whatever else I can make. I'm pretty excited about it. haha
