Actually I had originally planned to do an inverted u ( I would be trapped in the U space ) so people could walk around the edges of the tents however when I got there and saw my space it was in the woods and on a hill
and my front table was leaning to much so plans changed. I am going to try it that way this coming Saturday. I wasnt really trying to go for "fancy high class" and didnt set this up before hand so it just kind of ended up that way. I was actually going for kind of an exotic India/Persian look since my banner reminded of a "magic carpet" and found these really great old timey looking trunks at Hobby Lobby to set my soaps and lip balms in. I did get a chance to walk around a little and I would say I was probably the most "fancy booth" there. The other 2 soapers just has their soaps in crates and only had one table. I tend to get carried away some times ( must be the inner interior decorator in me ). Is there anything anyone could recommend that I might need to change? Most people who came in did buy something or at least came in and walked out with a business card. Maybe it did put off people ( either the shape or looked to expensive ) However my prices were actually cheaper than the other 2 soapers ( at least I know my soap was ) My soaps are $4, Body Butters $6, Lip Balms $2, Liquid Soaps $5, Candles $6, and the Bath Truffles $4. I also had specials Soap 3 for $10, Liquid Soap 3 for $12 and Body Butter 3 for $15. I will also be offering gift baskets this Saturday for $15 consisting of a candle, soap, body butter, and a lip balm
