My first salt bars :) 100% CO with 1:1 sea salt ratio. Scented with Candle Science Coconut Lime. Smell sooooooo yummy and you can smell both the coconut and lime. Hopefully the coconut will withstand the cure! Colored with nettle powder

[quote="SudsyFun"]Here are cut soap pictures of my Cranberry Fig soap. I'm psyched to make more soap!

Three bars of Cranberry Fig.

Very very beautiful Linda! I love these!

Last night, I finally got around to making another batch of Cranberry Fig. It's sooo easy to work with. This time I did go with all micas, replacing the TD with super pearly white mica. I also added patina sheen mica for a dab of green. Do you think it's too much? I also boosted the coral mica so it looks bright orange in the picture. I love my slab mold!

OK, I love the chevron pattern so I took this picture before finishing the swirl. Also, it gave proof that it looked nice at one point in case I messed up the swirl!

Here is the completed swirl.

Notice how bright the coral looks here. I like this picture because you can see some of the glitter from the micas.

Hope this works, I really need to post pics more often so I'm sure what to do.

This soap was made with NG's Christmas Cabin. Easy to work with but the product info said it discolored to a tan, so I just colored the charcoal portion of the soap with the FO. Seems to have worked! :)

Good job, Lovegreyhounds. It looks like smoke. I really liked Christmas Cabin. My test batch was a plop swirl. Love that name.

Christmas Cabin test batch.

Pumpkin Apple Butter is also from NG. It discolors to dark chocolate but smells wonderful.

This is my holiday test batch of NG's Mistletoe & Ivy. Love it!

Thanks, soapbuddy! It's been a whirlwind soaping week. I can't wait to see more of everyone's Fall and Winter/Holiday creations. :D

Thanks! Mistletoe & Ivy is a really nice, green Christmas scent. My husband and I are both enjoying it.

SudsyFun,

I just want to say that your picture:

Is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and it is motivating me to learn more and more about soapcraft, because I want to eventually learn to make something like that!

I'm still a neophyte, but this gives me something to aspire to.

Thanks, NoVaSoap! I'm always trying to improve. We have some talented, very experienced soap makers here that really inspire me. The great thing is that we can learn from everyone willing to share their soaping journey. Happy soaping! :D
