I've been toying with the idea of offering seasonal (fall/winter) scents to my customers.
I had someone ask me about plain lavender at my last craft show, so I'm probably going to hold my nose and make that.
Not a fan of straight lavender!
I also have a blend of orange/lavender/patchouli that's a nice, warm scent. Lavender/vanilla has also been suggested to me.
I have a friend who worked for Elizabeth Arden for 25+ years, and she had an intriguing idea. She said "we" (I'm guessing she means Arden) used to offer a fragrance that was chocolate and cinnamon. She said the name was Kashir (or maybe it's Cashmere), but I can't find anything under either spelling that matches the chocolate/cinnamon description. My friend told me that no matter how much of the stuff they ordered, they always sold out.
And I've also thought about just straight chocolate.
Does anybody else offer seasonal scents for lotion? I've done it with my soaps for a while now.
Any other ideas for fragrances?
Thanks for the help.
