 Post subject: Charcoal/Mica Drag Lines

How do I keep my pencil lines made with mica, charcoal, cocoa powder, etc... from dragging down when I cut my soap? Should I let it sit a few more days before cutting? Will that help? I usually cut within 1-2 days but I can certainly wait longer if that would work.

For my log mold soaps,
I turn the log on its side and cut WITH the pencil line. In other words, the pencile line Is horizontal in the bar of soap, so cut the bar with the pencile line vertical.
Doesn't eliminate ALL the drag, but much of it.
