I'll be using SageScript for my lotion testing. They seem to come highly recommended, and they are just down the road a ways from me.
My question is, are there "standard" tests that show be done on lotion before it's turned loose on the public?
Sagescript has a kind of package deal, where test for aerobic plate count and yeast/fungal count can be combined for, frankly, better pricing. Are those the standard tests that should be done?
In a lighter vein, I may get the chance to do an, um,
unusual challenge test. One of my dogs got ahold of one of my bottles of lotion. It has one tooth hole at the bottom of the bottle. I'm dubious that Sagescript includes the injection of mastiff spit as part of their challenge testing, so mine will be a one-of-a-kind deal.
Thanks!
