How do I get melt and pour soap to be shiny? I have tried to rub alcohol on it and it doesn't work. I bought this rag on some soap site and it was supposed to shine your soap but didn't work either. I saw soapyloves tutorial on the cube white and clear soap she made and then she shined it, well I tried it like that and it didn't work. I love how they show their shiny soaps on etsy but I can't get mine to be shiny like those. HELP :roll:

I found one site that says to paint it with a high gloss clear soap paint. Maybe thats how they get it so shiny. Other than that i've only seen people say to wet it and let it dry.

We're probably talking about same shop on etsy, but their soaps ae so beautiful and shiny it makes me despair of ever being that good.

I ordered a silicone mold which is labeled as a shiny one. I haven't gotten to play with it much, but I'm hoping it gives my soaps a good shine! The interior of the soap mold is super shiny.
