Me and a friend made a big puirchase of cacao butter. Like really to much.

I want to make a butter whit it.

I was thinkig of melting it, add glycerine and whip it. Simple.

what do you think? 10 or 20 % is enough.

Or is it a mistake?

With only 10% glycerin, it will still be hard when it sets up and sticky. You need some liquid oil in there.

It's for whipped avocado butter, but cocoa butter is fairly close to the same melting point/hardness. In the comments, Anne-Marie says, "If you were wanting to play with this recipe and include different butters and oils, I'd stick to 70% butters, 25% oils and 5% extracts. I hope this helps! =)"

I've never had avocado butter that is anywhere near as hard as cacao! My whipped cacao is about 50% cacao butter, 10% softer butter (mango or avocado) and 40% light oil (sweet almond or avocado).
