Teach Soap

Last night I rebatched the tops of my oatmeal milk and honey /with gluten free oatmeal and german rock sugar topping because the sugar looked like mouse droppings. I crock potted it and waited for it all to melt, when it did, I decided I wanted a bigger batch so I made up a small 8 oz (oil weight) fresh batch to mix in. I added honey water to my liquids, and the whole thing turned (as my husband termed it... poop brown) Anyway, I had also added a hint of salt to it, since for some reason when I rebatch it tends to stay soft and mushy and never hardens back up. Well with the om&h fragrance, the salt and the brown color, I made an accidental awesome soap... they look and smell like pretzel bars! They're nice and hard. Matt said there'd be no way I could pass them off as intentional, but I'm thinking they make a happy accident And as a bonus, he added a couple of shelves to my soaping rack so I now have double the curing space

Just think, a few more happy accidents and you will need another shelf. Then another, and another, and soon the whole house is a giant soap storage unit!
I love it when an accident comes together, and I would most certainly claim intention. After all, you intentionally put everything in that crock pot to get away from the mouse poo!
