Hi I'm new to CP soap making. I know how to do melt and pour and I make all my own laundry soaps and cleaners. But I really want to try CP soap making. My grandma did this pretty much her whole life until the 80's when she had to start taking care of her grandkids. She did a lot of old time stuff that in reality would probably freak out most of the people on here. But what I want to know what book(s) are good for beginners. I've search on barns and noble as well as amazon and all come with a lot of mixed reviews. Some actually say that some of these books teach things that are way off or need a lot of preservatives to keep them good. Can anyone help me out? I really want to only learn CP not melt and pour or such because that would be a waste. :)
