Look up the Invigorating Shampoo Bar recipe.

Not sure what you mean about "shampoo bar base". BB has liquid bases, but this is a bar

yes I saw that one, but I'm not a fan of palm oil, is there anything I could use instead of palm oil (exept of lard and tallow) I mean, any other oils? and what about addind vodka? lol
I read in the commetns that someone asked the same question, and she answered that you could use coconut oil instead, but coconut oil is already in the recipe, so I don't get it..I can't increase the amount of coconut couse it'll be too drying, so that's the kind of stuff that confuses me

BTW - I just washed my hair with Genny's recipe, and I have to say, my hair does look more volumized and cleaner than with the other batches I made, but it feels a little weird -dryish...although I didn't rinse with ACV nor did I put any conditioner on afterward...I'll definently do that next time :)

I suggest you go & research the different qualities of oils & what they bring to a bar of soap. There have been a few great links posted just this week :D

Adding alcohol to CP soap (the raw batter) will make it seize, you don't want this either!

Some hair types are just not suited to CP soap. Personally I will give it another go at some stage but with my hair type, (fine, curly & frizzy) I always had to follow with an ACV rinse. This was using some extremely popular shampoo bars (I tried half a dozen!) :D

There are plenty of reputable blogs/tutorials out there that are palm-free. How about you have a look at the Soap Queen's blog? She has several great palm-free recipes. This will allow you to see what suitable substitutions are :D

I do HP btw :D When I type into Google "shampoo bar recipes" or something like that, I swear ALL the links from page 1-7 are purple LOL ! I clicked on them all :D
But I'll check out Soap queen, but as far as I have seen, she only has soap bars, maybe one or two shampoo bars :(

I really don't wanna use palm oil couse I'm against ruining the jungles (I'm weird I know lol) and animal products are out of the question, sooo I'll just keep looking. I was even wondering about adding some natural liquid shampoo my mom bought me in an Indian shop. Maybe adding it at trace and see what happens :D

I just want something that I can say "hell yeah" to

I havent tried it but I saw what looked like and awsome shampoo bar on soapqueens web site and I think I saw soapmakeing101 had one on youtube if you want to check those out. Edentia Farms (so sorry if I spelled it wrong) has a video on youtube about makeing shampoo bars as well they are all slightly diffrent but might be worth a try to make a small batch of yours and each of those to see if your hair likes one or the other better.
I am hopeing shampoo bars work for me , as many many store bought shampoos make my scalp itchy and scabby for reasons unknown to me.

I agree..I was just curious, can you harden regular liquid shampoo? I just though of that, hardening it would make it last so much longer :)

Have you tried washing your hair with one of your regular bars of soap? I don't bother with shampoo bars because my regular soap does a great job. But, my husband has to use store-bought shampoo on his hair because my handmade soap and shampoo bars make his hair feel like straw.

I think that my hair, too, would feel like straw if I only used a regular bar :O

Listen to this - I went to my local grocery store and bought come apple cider vinegar, and washed my hair again with the bar I made (Genny's recipe), used 6-7 tbl spoons of acv and water as rinse, left it to sit about a minute, rinsed out and my hair is oily....how the hell is it oily? isn't acv used to take the oilyness out? omg I'm going to kill myself

am I using too much avc? too little? :?

I have a question if its ok to ask here. Do you use the same superfat % as in a body bar say 7 % or do you use more or less ? THanks

could I ask something without sounding really stupid? How much is 3:1 ? I mean, I really don't know, how much acv and how much water?
see yesterday when I washed without any acv or conditioner, my hair felt dry and weird, but today with acv- oily and all spaghetti like
