So you turned your boyfriend into your soap tester I will have to do that with mine. The only problem with that is the floral scents mess with his allergies so I guess I will have to test those myself.
The only problem with giving them to my aunt is she likes to give away my soap as gifts to her clients. Which I don't mind so much doing that with my M&P soaps, because not much can go wrong with those, but CP soap is another story. I am going to have to tell her that is not ok with my CP soap. I think my list will be pretty short too.
Anyways as my aunt said; if someone sues me they are going to be very disappointed I am about as poor as poor can get. As the old saying goes "You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip". You can't get something out of someone that they don't have. She said the "sue happy" would be better off sticking to going after the large companies and corps, lol. I don't even own any property, no house, not even a car right now. I bet my net worth is like 0, lol.

Yeah, it can be frustrating. In the beginning a few years back I had a lot of soap that never got used. Up until I started selling I only made soap every once in a blue moon and only gave it to my immediate family. I didn't want to take any chances. And as for a soap for acne prone skin there are tons of additives and essential oils that help really well but you just can't say it clears up acne. I have my facial bars and that I make and sell but when selling and advertising I don't say anything in regards to acne. But as long as you're not selling your soap there really is no reason to worry about it. And don't freak about having to much soap. When I started making soap for just me and family. I only made very small 2 lb batches and only made them every few months. As long as you don't make to much at once I wouldn't worry and even then depending on the recipe you use your soap can have a very long shelf life. I have a bar of soap I just pulled out of the closet that I made 2 years ago and it's just fine. Now mind you I wouldn't sell it, just in case, but for me it works just fine.

I just needed a hobby mostly. I am a stay at home mom. So I basically take care of my kids, clean, and run errands. I got super sick of watching TV and playing video games. I don't much like that sitting around wasting time on stuff like that when I can find something to do that is more rewarding and productive. I really enjoy making soap. I did M&P for 2 yrs, but the only problem is I still have a whole box (not a HUGE box mind you) of it sitting in my closet from a year and a half ago, lol. I don't mind giving my M&P soaps away to whoever, but I guess I am going to have to be more selective on who I give my CP soaps to. I guess I end up making soap more often than I NEED to because I want to, lol.

Amy, I don't know how big your batches are, but why not make small batches like 1 lb.? Just convert it to grams for better accuracy.

I planned on making small batches especially since I am new to CP soaping. I figure that way if I mess it up and have to throw it out or something like that I won't be wasting a bunch of my supplies.

I opened up my neem oil today, and decided to give it a sniff since everyone said it smelled so bad. Man does it stink, and I got some on my fingers, and had to wash it off 5 times before I got the smell off.
