Noni, CPOP is the same process as regular CP. The only difference is that you are using the oven to force gel after you've poured rather than insulating and letting it gel on its own.
To do a textured top, you can pour at medium-thick trace and then scult the top, or you can pour at a lighter trace (if you're doing swirls, etc.) but hold back some of the batter and add it to the top after it thickens up.
