We made a very fun batch of colored goatmilk soap using alkanet, brown oxide and red oxide. I went to test it out after three days and the red 'runneth over'. Help! What is going on?

Too much color?
Too many colors mixed?
Just using the wrong color?
Do I need to let it cure longer?

Do you mean red lather? If so, you probably used too much colorant.

Sounds like too much colorant to me. How much of each color did you use to how much soap?

I've found that I need to go much lighter with red oxide than the other oxides for whatever reason.

red oxide needs to be used very sparingly.
