I have Vanilla Oleoresin 10x and I'm infusing it in Jojoba oil. Can the infused Jojoba oil be used to scent a soy wax candle or is it better to use Benzoin or Balsalm of Peru.
I've seen natural Vanilla candles online and just wondering what they use for scent. Currently I use an FO but would love a natural option.

I know this is super super after you needed this but if you do that infusion, it can definitely. However, your candle will be way softer if you do a traditional 25%/75% mixture.

I assume the people online claiming they have a natural vanilla candle are lying or they are using a vanilla absolute (slightly dissolved in jojoba) to make their product similar to what you're talking about. If you do that, I would try a 1:1 ratio and see if you got it liquid enough to incorporate into your candle.

Thank you for posting this. I forgot I had asked this question but now I need the information again.

Making a candle for a customer and I'm using all resins: Labdanum, Benzoin and Peru Balsalm in soy wax.

Made 2 candles with just those resins and soy wax and used and HTP 105 and HTP 126 wick in a glass jar.
They burned fine but while burning and hardening up after the burn they both produced a resin blob at the
base of the wick. Is this because I didn't dissolve the resins? Can I just other essential oils to dissolve the resins
into ie. Orange or Bergamot? Or do I have to use a liquid oil? When you say 25%/75% mixture is that
25% oil and 75% essential oil? Can I use less oil to keep the integrity of the scent?
