Does beeswax make good tarts? If not, what is the best wax to use in tart making? I am going to be making some for Christmas gifts, and am very excited!

Beeswax is pretty hard by itself. The candle warmer might not be hot enough to melt the wax. Plus once the wax in the warmer cools off it will be hard to remove. Why not go with another softer wax like soy wax?

No beeswax doesn't make good tarts, plus it's too expensive to use that way. Beeswax's melt point is usually around 155, depending on the wax itself. I use it for votives, tea lights, pillars and tapers. It also makes pretty ornaments.
