Teach Soap

Hello,

I currently use palm wax mixed with soy to get good scent throw results with EO's and FO's but the supplier I use no longer carries it and it's getting harder and harder to find so I'd like to switch to using all soy now. Can you tell me what additives you have used to increase scent throw using EO's and FO's in soy candles? I'd prefer it be vegan.

I've heard of beeswax and coconut oil but haven't tried it myself. If you do use an additive can you tell me how much you would recommend per pound? I know I will have to spend hours on hours experimenting but just wondering what other people use.

I've tried 1 TBS. coconut per lb. of soy wax and that worked out just ok. I've read to add up to 20% paraffin to boost the scent, but haven't tried it.

Thanks, I'll have to try the coconut as I don't want to use paraffin.

Another suggestion I found was trying pillar wax so I'll experiment with that as well.
