Teach Soap

I purchased some supplies from Nature's Garden and they enclosed as a gift an "Aroma Bud" (it was labeled) with a sample scent on it & also a sample color. It looked like a silk white rosebud dipped in some kind of scented and colored wax. It is really beautiful and has a wonderful fragrance.

Does anyone know what these are and how to make them? Are they used as an air freshener? or?

I am not sure exactly what it is without seeing it but if it was dipped in fragrance wax than it is probably an air freshener. Judging from the name I think this is correct. Any heavily scented wax should work, but one with a lower melting temp would be best.

If it was dipped in Melt and Pour soap than it is a one-time use soap.

That is actually a good way of them letting you get a sample of a scent and a color in one product!

WOW! I would never have thought this was made of wood. The feel of it is silk. It is quite lovely. It looks real. The scent is very light and delicate, like smelling a fresh flower, not overwhelming at all. I thought this would be perfect, to just include in an order of soap as a gift.

This is like the one they sent to me. It is lovely - how clever!

It would be great way to display your fragrances of your soaps at a craft fair. That way they would keep their noses off the soap. I just might have to do that for my next show.
