Teach Soap

So has anyone ever poured candles into coffee mugs before? Since they are usually made out of pretty thick glass, I figured as long as I heated the mugs in the oven for a few minutes just to get the temp up, that they would probably be alright. What do you guys think? I am thinking for Jan/Feb to go thrift store-ing, find some funky cool coffee mugs, and try some of these scents as candles. What do you think?
Cappuccino Mocha, Coffee, Hazelnut Coffee, and Mulled Cider.

Also has anyone every tried to do anything like this? I really like this idea, and I am looking for some nifty ideas for Valentines themed items. One thing I wasn't sure about is it mentioned using and old baking sheet/cookie sheet, and then spraying with non stick spray. Would that not compromise the candle liquid or possibly catch fire if it has non stick aerosol can type spray in there? I do really like the look of it though.

Also another thing I have been thinking about, and wondering if it might work-not sure here because I am thinking the wick would probably not stick. But I saw this thing about homemade beeswax ornaments, and the guy used a silicone baking pan and just poured the wax in. Although I would be using some kind of votive wax blend, i figured it might work the same. Is there any way you could assemble votice size pre-waxed wicks-might have to have another set of hands to help-in the pan, pour in your wax, let it harden and then cookie cutter them out in whatever shapes you like? I was thinking I could get like, 4 leaf clover shaped cutters, and then do candles that wouldn't actually be votive shaped, but maybe still small enough to put in votive holders. Does that sound like it might work or is that just insane sounding? I have mostly been doing jar candles with a c3 soy wax so I am new to any kind of ideas like this. However, I have gotten some requests for "cutesy" gimmicky type stuff like this, so I thought I would ask you guys' opinions. Thanks alot!
